Dr. Arnett graduated with honors from the University of Southern California (USC) Dental School and the University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA) in oral and maxillofacial surgery. His practice focuses on facial reconstruction, including surgery and research. He is a prominent international speaker and has authored numerous papers on all aspects of Orthognathic surgery. He co-authored Facial and Dental Planning for Orthodontists and Oral Surgeons with Dr. Richard McLaughlin.

Dr. Arnett is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Orthodontics at Loma Linda University; a Clinical Assistant Professor at USC; a Senior Lecturer in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at UCLA; a Clinical Professor in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio; and a visiting professor at the Universidad del Desarrollo School of Dentistry in Santiago, Chile.


Drs. Nico Vrijens graduated as general dentist 1980 from the University of Leuven, Belgium.

Till 1983 specialization to oral surgeon in Germany, whit focus on implantology and periodontology. Till 1986 postgraduate orthodontic study, certification in orthodontics from UOD.

Diploma in orthodontics by the FACE/Roth-Williams Center for Functional Occlusion

Post graduate study the pre-adjusted appliance systems with Drs. L. Andrews, R. Roth, R. McLaughlin.

Since 1995 intensive studies on interdisciplinary treatment of orthognathic surgery patients with his mentor Dr. William Arnett, Santa Barbara CA. USA.

He is member of the board of the “International Arnett Orthognathic Surgery Forum”, CA. USA and president of the European Arnett orthognathic surgery forum.

Main fields of interest are multidisciplinary treatment and 3D diagnostics and digital treatment planning.

He is practicing as director and senior orthodontist in the Multidisciplinary “FABS Centre”, in Maastricht, the Euregio region at the German- Dutch-Belgian border.



Dr. Renato Cocconi attended the 3 years Postgraduate Program in Orthodontics at the Department of Orthodontics of the University of Milan where he obtained his master degree in 1993. He spent 2, 1/2 years in the United States where he worked in L.F. Andrews’ office in San Diego and attended the 2 years Roth Williams postgraduate course in Burlingame (CA) in 1991-1993. He has cohoperated with Terry Tanaka at the USC facial pain. He has been clinical professor at the Department of Orthodontics of the University of Milan from 1993 to 2008. He is responsable of the Roth Williams group in Italy and he has lectured to the main European and American Orthodontic Societies. He is member of the EOS, AAO, SIDO and active member of the Angle Society of Europe. His private practice is in Parma where he directs with Prof Raffaini the “FACE Ortho Surgical Center”.



Prof. Raffaini was born in Parma (Italy). He trained under the guidance of Prof. R. Brusati, working for almost 20 years in the Divisions of Maxillofacial Surgery both of Parma’s University-Hospital and Milan’s S. Paolo Hospital. Consultant at San Raffaele Hospital (Milan, Italy). Consultant at Teknon Medical Center (Barcellona, Spain), where he developed new surgery techniques together with Dr. F. Hernandez. Fellowships at several national and international Institutions with specializations in: cranio-facial surgery (Dr. Tessier, Dr. Ortiz Monasterio, Dr. Kawamoto), head and neck surgery (Prof. Sesenna), orthognathic surgery (Dr. Epker, Dr. Arnett, Dr. Wolford), maxillofacial surgery (Prof. Delaire, Prof. Obwegeser), plastic surgery (Dallas Southwestern University). Visiting Professor in Maxillofacial Surgery at the following Universities: Pisa, Parma, Chieti, Milano. 2000-today: Associate Professor at the Division of Maxillofacial Surgery, University of Florence. In Florence he currently devotes himself to cranio-maxillo facial reconstructive surgery at Centro Traumatologico Ortopedico, C.T.O.(Trauma Center Hospital). At Meyer Children’s Hospital of Florence he is Consultant for congenital cranio-facial malformations. Author of over 150 scientific publications and monographic books on maxillofacial surgery. Editorial board member of various international specialized journals (orthodontics and maxillo-facial surgery



Professor Martin is one of the most recognizable and popular orthodontists in the world.

Dr. Jeffrey L McClendon was born and raised in Pittsburgh, PA. He then graduated Allegheny College (1977) with a B.S. in Chemistry, the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine (1981), Advanced Education Program in General Dentistry, 2-Years, Ft. Knox , (1988-90), and served in the US Army Dental Corps (1981-1994). In 1997 he graduated from the Lee Institute (level 4).

He is in private practice in Manhattan, providing restorative and Bioesthetic care. He has been a speaker and hands-on course instructor both nationally and internationally.

He is a member of American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, Academy of Bioesthetic Dentistry, and Roth-Williams International Society of Orthodontists. In Dr MAC was a co-founding member of the Occlusal Concepts Study Group in NYC. He is an instructor for Foundation for Orognathic Bioesthetics International, New York University Esthetic Continuum, FACE Tx, and directs CORE (Collaborative Orthodontic and Restorative Efforts) workshops. Dr. Knight is a graduate of the Roth/Williams 2 year program for Functional Occlusion and the recipient of the Roth Williams International Society of Orthodontists Pacesetter Award. He is a Diplomate of The American Board of Orthodontics and a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry. He has been appointed as Director of the Roth Williams International Society of Orthodontists for the United States and has most recently started the new Full FACE Course for teaching functional occlusion and goal directed orthodontics.

Prof. Lorenzo Trevisiol graduated with honor from the University of Verona (Italy) at Schoolof Medicine in 2000. He completed with honor his MaxilloFacial Surgery training in 2005 at the same place. On completion of his training in 2005, Prof. Trevisiol served as Assistant

Professor in the Department of MaxilloFacial Surgery, University of Verona. Since 2014 he was entitled Associate Professor in the same Department. He is currently teaching in the Dental School and in the School of Dental Hygiene. He is also lecturing for the Residency Programs of Maxillofacial Surgery and Legal Medicine at the University of Verona.

Since the beginning of his career Prof. Trevisiol focuses most of his surgical and scientific practice on facial dentoskeletal deformities and orthognathic surgery. Other fields of investigation developed by him regard traumatology, advanced implant surgery and oral pathology. Prof. Trevisiol has lectured in several meeting on all these topics. Furthermore he authored more than 80 scientific papers, including articles, chapters of books and monographs.

Dr. Octavio Cintra received his D.D.S. from the University of Campinas - UNICAMP - Sao Paulo/Brazil.

His Oral and Maxillofacial training was obtained at The University and Hospital of Santa Casa de Misericordia de Sao Paulo, his fellowship was at The Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas - Division of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Parkland Memorial Hospital, Dallas, Texas, USA.

He is one of the five members of S.O.R.G. - Latin America Group and is the Vice President of S.A.A.F. (South American Arnett Foundation).

He maintains a private practice strictly focused in Orthognathic Surgery in Sao Paulo/SP, Brazil.


Dr. Roblee graduated from Baylor College of Dentistry (BCOD), Dr. Roblee quickly became renowned for his work in Esthetic and Restorative Dentistry in Dallas, Texas. In order to be able to give his patients the highest level of comprehensive care, he decided to return to BCOD and study graduate orthodontics. He is now recognized around the globe for his work in esthetic dentistry, orthodontic techniques and interdisciplinary therapy. He has given more than 500 professional presentations in the United States, Canada, Central America, South America, Europe, Australia and Japan on these topics. He is also a leader in several exciting new areas of dentistry including Surgically Facilitated Orthodontic Therapy (SOFT) and Airway Centered Growth and Development. He is the author of numerous publications and videos, including a landmark textbook entitled “Interdisciplinary Dentofacial Therapy: A Comprehensive Approach to Optimal Patient Care” (Quintessence Publishing Co., Inc.). He is an active member in numerous prestigious dental organizations, including the American Academy of Fixed Prosthodontics and the American Academy of Restorative Dentistry. Dr. Roblee is the current President of the American Academy of Esthetic Dentistry, which is limited to the top 100 worldwide leaders in Esthetic Dentistry. He is honored to be only the second orthodontist to ever serve in that role.

Dr. Roblee is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics, a distinction that less than 20% of practicing orthodontists actually receive. He is also an associate clinical professor at Texas A&M Baylor College of Dentistry in both the restorative department and the orthodontic department.



Dr. Elisabetta Grendene graduated from the University of Verona - Italy Dental School in 2000, and she ended her orthodontic program at the University of Milan in 2006.

She is a member of the Italian Society of Orthodontics (SIDO).

She attended several orthodontic courses as the Tweed study Course with Dr Klonz, Tucson Arizona in 2001, Two year clinical orthodontic program, Milan 2004-2006 with Dr RH Roth , Dr WE Williams, Dr R Cocconi, two year orthodontic-orthognatic master with dr W.
